Mike Crews is no stranger to the concept of maximum safety through increased training. Throughout his 30-year law enforcement career with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Florida Department of Corrections, he has held progressive leadership positions, including Training and Research Manager in FDLE’s Leadership Center, Bureau Chief of Standards in the Professionalism Program, Director of the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute and Director of the Professionalism Program within FDLE.
Crews joined the Florida Sheriffs Risk Management Institute in 2014. In his capacity of Vice President of FSRMI, he oversees loss control services provided to our member Sheriffs.
Crews’s focus is the vision of the Florida Sheriffs Risk Management Institute: to maximize the safety of Florida Sheriffs Offices and staff.
