Joanna Mueller

Joanna brings a diverse background in insurance and a keen eye for detail to the FSRMF. She currently oversees all activities of the Member Services team, including marketing, underwriting, rating, coverage and daily customer service for FSRMF members. She is also Manager of the Florida Sheriffs Insurance Agency. The Agency places coverage, such as aviation, equipment and inmate medical, for Sheriff’s in the commercial insurance market.

Joanna’s past experience includes working with self-insured programs for school boards and state agencies, insurance agency large commercial account management and oversight of insurance company market conduct as a regulator with the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. She began working with the Sheriff’s programs in 2008, but is no stranger to law enforcement, as both her father and mother worked in the field of law enforcement prior to their retirement.

Joanna is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management/Insurance. She holds a Florida 2-20 General Lines License and is currently working toward a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
